ACE polyurea coatings
They have been used for decades in industrial sectors that operate in highly aggressive environments or that require the insulation and protection of equipment and structures from impact, wear, or chemical corrosion.
They are continuous, elastic, and impermeable membranes, fully adhered to the substrate, allowing the treated elements to be put into use and returned to service almost immediately.

Our polyureas are chemically resistant to a long list of chemical and organic substances and are used for the anticorrosive protection of equipment, pipes, and tanks or reservoirs in both primary and secondary containment.
They are effective and durable coatings for the encapsulation of various hazardous materials. For example, the ENCAPSULACE system for encapsulating fiber cement eliminates the risk of dangerous asbestos fibers being released into the environment. Our ACE TOTAL SHELD system can be used to encapsulate nuclear waste or prevent the infiltration of dangerous radon gas into buildings.
Due to their high resilience and energy absorption capacity, they are effective for impact protection from all types of elements and are used for shielding steel structures and for blast mitigation of concrete structures.
They are excellent coatings for electrical insulation and can therefore be used to prevent arc flash on the floors of power stations and substations, as well as for lids and anti-scalding. They are also very effective in protecting against abrasion and wear to which the equipment is subjected by the combination of air and dust.
Advantages of ACE® systems for substations and power plants
They withstand high temperatures, resist thermal shock, and maintain elasticity at low temperatures, which is why they are used in cold storage, turbines, valves, etc.
Due to their high elasticity, tensile strength and adhesion, they allow the sealing of materials with different elongation coefficients.
Resistant to alkalis and various acids.
They protect surfaces from environmental corrosion and prevent osmosis.
Our systems withstand occasional spills or secondary containment of hydrocarbons and primary contact with various substances such as AdBlue.
They have high resistance to abrasion and impact, which is why they are used in hoppers and sieves.
They are resistant to seawater and salt spray.
