A poor condition of equipment poses safety risks and also has a negative economic impact on the activity.

Steel and concrete protection systems of great durability, resistance to corrosion, abrasion and chemical attack with optimum adherence to the support are therefore required.

ACE COATINGS provides the mining industry with coating solutions based on polyurea technology that will contribute to:

  • extend the service life of the installations
  • minimising maintenance actions, and
  • avoid costs and downtime.

Polyureas are synthetic polymers which, when sprayed with hot high-pressure equipment, create in seconds continuous and elastic membranes totally adhered to the substrate with excellent mechanical performance and chemical resistance.

With this environmentally friendly technology, we formulate 100% solvent and CFC-free, highly durable systems that do not require specific maintenance actions.

Our systems are corrosion characterised as C5I and C5M High according to ISO 12944-6: 2005; they are therefore resistant to condensation, salt spray, and permanent immersion in seawater and various chemicals.

Certified with European ETEs as liquid roof waterproofing for severe climates (substrates -20ºC to 90º) for an estimated service life of 25 years based on ageing by heat, water immersion and UV radiation QUV chamber.
