Marine and Offshore

ACE polyurea coatings are continuous and completely watertight, suitable for permanent contact with seawater and resistant to salt spray and condensation.

They are used to create non-slip and highly wear-resistant flooring on decks, as well as interior floors with a fire rating of BF1-S1 with decorative finishes that comply with UNE 41901.

ACE anticorrosive systems are classified as C5M High according to ISO 12944:6 and carry the PRS MARINE quality seal.

Along with anti-corrosion protection, our ACE special polyureas for the marine sector, thanks to their resilience, also provide excellent anti-impact protection, which is so important, for example, in boat-landing areas of offshore structures or cargo or military vessels.

Properties

A high-performance polyurea system such as the ACE TOTAL SHIELD line offers, in addition to anti-corrosion protection:

  • Superior elongation (400%) maintained at temperatures below 0°C.
  • High tensile strength (> 20 MPA)
  • High resilience and impact absorption (Gardner > 3 kg)
  • Resistant to moisture and permanent contact with seawater
  • More resistant to biofilm adhesion than other coatings
  • Applied by hot spraying, it cures in seconds, allowing any thickness in a single layer, enabling faster project completion
  • Non-harmful solutions for the marine environment, even used in drinking water tanks and fish farms.

Floors

Continuous, resilient, bacteriologically stable flooring rated BFL-S1 for indoor fire protection. The entire system can be applied in just a few hours, allowing for almost immediate traffic.

Hulls

Revestimiento anticorrosivo de excelentes propiedades mecánicas y resistencia en ambiente marino incluso a bajas temperaturas. Protege contra el impacto ( >30% resilencia) y no favorece la adhesión de microorganismos.

Deposits

Anti-corrosion coating with excellent mechanical properties and resistance in marine environments, even at low temperatures. It protects against impact (>30% resilience) and does not promote the adhesion of microorganisms.
